Privacy – HomeBeat.Live is GDPR compliant

BERLIN (1st May 2018) – HomeBeat.Live is GDPR compliant. From the very start, HomeBeat.Live has been built keeping the protection of your data and privacy in focus. The platform always puts your interests first.

Search engines, like Google, Bing, etc., do not have access to the HomeBeat.Live platform. Personal data is never passed on to third parties without your prior consent.

No data is saved on end-devices with exception of cookies with sole purpose of keeping your user settings up to date for your convenience.

All data sent to and from the HomeBeat.Live platform is 100% encrypted with TLS (Transport Layer Security), a modern version of SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology which prohibits any form of unauthorised access when data is transferred from one device to another.

All data is stored in Germany, subject to German "Bundesdatenschutzgesetz", the most stringent privacy protection law in Europe today.

You decide which data you wish, or do not wish, to share with your house community. Even when you decide not to share anything, you remain fully informed and reachable. You can freely modify your personal settings at any time.

Internally, our support staff has very limited access. We only provide access to data which is required to do their job: to help you.

About GDPR

The European GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) goes into effect on 25.05.2018. With the recent data privacy scandals with Cambridge Analytica and Facebook in mind, the issue is more pressing than ever. We are pleased that the EU is moving ahead to better protect your privacy and data, enforcing companies to carefully comply with improved standards.

About HomeBeat.Live

HomeBeat.Live is the first freemium B2C solution which enables individuals to drive long-overdue digitalisation of the building in which they live – free of charge, without any technical knowledge and in less than 10 minutes.

HomeBeat.Live is like Slack™ for apartment buildings, enhanced with building-specific functionality to optimise communication, transparency and access to services in residential buildings. The platform enables strong and vibrant communities, 24/7 access to information, enhances efficiency and improves safety in the building. Intrinsic to the building, continued access to both data and platform is assured. Property managers gain access to a powerful tool to become visible in a positive manner whilst avoiding investments themselves. GmbH was founded end of April 2016 by Bruno Acar and Anton Skorochod and is currently active in Germany, UK, USA, Australia, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium.
